HR OUTREACH 2019-CANCER WARRIOR FOUNDATION

January 26,2019- The HR team went to Batangas Clinic for the Sick Children to bring joy,to make them smile,to give hope to the cancer patients.While some kids are spending time outside,playing any kind of sports, this kids stays at the hospital thinking that the hospital is their playground.That chemo is a kind of playtime.

I admire them for their bravery to endure such pain in their young body.They are too young to understand what cancer is,but it naturally comes out to their mouth,” I have a cancer”.They know already what are the foods that they can eat and cannot eat.Most of these children have tasted more medicine than their mom’s home made dish.

What you cannot see on the picture:

1. Plaster at the back of the head
2. Bruise caused by injection
3. Dizziness and vomit caused by chemotherapy
4. Chemotherapy session
5. High dosage of medicine
6. Blood draws

Once a child is diagnose with cancer ,the whole livelihood of family might be lost. Doing something little extra is better than nothing at all.Even if the cancer stole their childhood there still hope on their faces,hope that they can survive and play like normal children.Don’t waste your life,Don’t kill your self because you were dumped by your crush because this cancer warrior are fighting for their lives everyday. Make your days count!
