Sixth Visit on Fertility Doctor : Pregnant or Not?

February 21,2020

We were not able to go back last December and January for our follow-up check. Last December,we were supposed to submit the results of ultrasound to check if Letrozole is working on us. She increased the dosage from 1 tablet to 2 tablets. Since were not able to go back on December we opted for January. It was the 1st day of clinic, as expected,it was jam packed. I arrived at the clinic earlier than my usual schedule only to find out that I was already #28, meaning my consultation turn would be 6pm so I decided to go back home and return next week. I informed Dra. that it was my 1st day of menstruation and she instructed me to have Ultrasound. I got the referral from the secretary but I’m not able to do that because of too many things.

Here comes February, I am experiencing terrible breast sores.I’m thinking that my bra is too small again because I gained weight. Change the size of my bra but the sore doesn’t go away. It was my complaint to my husband every minute of everyday. My menstruation missed its usual arrival date. Husband ask me to PT. I did,but I didn’t saw two lines.Threw it to the trash can.Breast sore never disappear.Did PT again on the morning, same results no two lines, threw again on the trash can. I texted my friend who survived breast cancer about the symptoms of breast cancer because I was really worried.

I convinced my husband that I really need to go the hospital to have my breast check. My husband personally check the PT that i threw at the trash can. He told me its two lines. I’m not believing because I saw the PT before him. I’m not convinced so instead of going to check up my breast sore we texted Dra. and visit her on her clinic at Parañaque Doctors Hospital.

She asked the first day of last menstruation. First day of menstruation starts the counting of pregnancy weeks. weird?! but they count it that way. On her counting baby was 7 weeks 5 days. Ask me to have ultrasound to know the position of the baby and prescribe me Duphaston twice a day although I’m not bleeding, just for prevention.

I had my ultrasound last Feb 29,2020. The gestational age was 5 weeks and 5 days.No heartbeat advise to have a follow up scan after 5-7 days to document viability.

I was like is this real?!
