Just like my previous post, I will do my best to remember and narrate my fourth visit to my fertility doctor.
I showed my thyroid laboratory test and thank you Lord it was all within range result, but for fertility matter the doctor requested me to make it lower.
My concern on this visit was my menstruation was delayed but not pregnant.
The fertility doctor prescribed me 10mg Duphaston. Once a day for 5 days.
Duphaston works in 2 ways. If you were pregnant, it serves as pampakapit for threatened miscarriage and if you were not pregnant you will have menstruation.
Duphaston contains a medicine called “dydrogesterone”. Dydrogesterone is a man-made hormone. It is very similar to the hormone “progesterone” made by your body. Medicines like Duphaston are called “progestogens” . Duphaston is used to treat problems which you may get when your body is not making enough of its own progestogen hormone. The progestogen (dydrogesterone) in Duphaston replaces this missing hormone . Source: Duphaston 10mg film coated tablet
I was asked to go back at the clinic anytime between my menstruation period.
