1.In our case, we will buy a lot thru an individual who advertised at Facebook.
Please make your own background investigation about the individual.
There are so may scammers in social media. Better safe than sorry.
We called the subdivision where the lot is located to verify if there was really posted LOT FOR SALE for that property.They confirmed that the LOT is really for sale but when I asked for the name of the seller they did not divulged any information due to Data Privacy Act.
2.Then, we decided to check the property.We contact the seller thru messenger then set ocular with them.We fell in love with place because of its nature ambiance. The place is at Mt. Makiling foothill.
3.Right after the ocular, we called Metrobank and BPI to inquired about Home Loan.
They are both OK but we choose BPI because of lesser requirements.
4. My husband submitted all the documents to BPI Tanauan Branch on Tuesday September 25,2018 and received a call next day,saying that our documents have passed the initial screening. Then the next week October 5,2018 we ( I and my husband)both received a call verifying our credit application and some personal questions.On October 8,2018 they conduct credit investigation on my parent’s house.Since we declared that our permanent home address is my parent’s house.On October 15,2018 I follow- up the BPI about the status of our application.According to Ms.Blessy of BPI she scheduled us for appraisal value checking on Oct 9,2018 but still no reply from BPI Credit group.
5.On October 16, we received a text message from the seller that her husband is going to work abroad on November.We might need his sign for other documentations and for SPA.
That’s it.That’s the status of our loan application as of October 16,2018.
